Sir John Morgan
Knight of the Holy Sepulchre, Steward of Gwynllwg (Wentloog). After the unfortunate aftermath of the Glyndwr rebellion (backed the wrong side) Sir John led the Morgan dynasty back into the ascendancy. Reflective of his build, he was known as ‘Y Marchog Tew’ (The Fat Knight); his bard was Gwilym Tew (Fat William). With wife Jenet produced ten (11 by some accounts!) children.)
